Hi David - Great blog! You seem like quite the experienced diver! I'm currently launching a community based scuba diving site, with user article/guides submission, user photos, forums and reviews.

Currently, I am adding content to the site and I am looking for those inclined to write about scuba diving. Would you consider contacting me (email in comment) about this? I'd love to have you as an author/editor on The Scuba Site!

Keep blogging!

I'd have to agree with Scuba Island... zippers last longer and retain equipment much better.

Sorry to hear about your BC.

Also be sure to check out our latest post: <a HREF="http://neutraldivegear.blogspot.com/2008/09/wait-is-over-exclusive-ndg-logo-flexfit.html" rel="nofollow">The Wait is Over</A>!!!

Hi,

I just came across your website and saw this article. Sorry to hear about your BC. In regards to zippers vs velcro, I would definitely go zippers. Not only do they not wear out like velcro, you will be much less likely to lose stuff.

I have just started a new site, www.thescubaisland.com where I plan to cover this type of stuff. If you get a chance, check it out!

Unfortunately i chose zippers before i had much time to ask around. It seems the tech guys prefer Velcro since it cant' jam. Live and learn.

I got my suit back a few days ago. I'm super excited to try it out with the new seals.
