These are great lights even though they seem pricey compared to much larger lights. I just completed advanced diver training and our instructor allowed us to carry these as a primary light using the Intova narrow beam light, a sister to this one, as a backup. Extremely bright for the size and you don’t have to lug around a huge light filled with heavy batteries!

Just had a scuba diving & snorkel experience in San Diego thought the other should experience as well. Believe me that was truly adventurous.

I’d have to agree with Scuba Island… zippers last longer and retain equipment much better.

Hi,

I just came across your website and saw this article. Sorry to hear about your BC. In regards to zippers vs velcro, I would definitely go zippers. Not only do they not wear out like velcro, you will be much less likely to lose stuff.
