Introduction to Diving

Welcome to DavidFricks.com.  I put this page up to share my love of diving with friends, family, and the diving community.   Here you will find videos pictures and various types of useful information related to SCUBA diving.

My first dive was in Jamaica the day of my sisters wedding.  I took a PADI Discover Scuba class at the on site dive shop of the Windom with one of my sisters brides maids.  From then on I was hooked. However, Open Water Certification was a bit out of reach on a Runner's salary.  A few years later I was engaged.  It didn't take long for me to convince Jessica to go through the Open Water class with me.  Jessica was a natural.  We went on to take both Advanced Open Water, and nitrox together.  I later took the PADI Rescue Diver class on my own, and am currently pursuing my Divemaster certification through Ocean Adventures Dive Co.
